- Replica gas tank is single cap style with a fuel capacity of 2 gallons, and a right side petcock location.
- Recommended to use with Mounting Kit 38-0207.
- The tank is a stock styled high tunnel tank that features stock mounts and filler neck.
- It uses a 1955-74 petcock.
- Please test fitment before painting.
- Tank weld seams may require filler to meet your individual requirements.
- Do not grind or sand the seams as this may cause leaks.
- We suggest using Kreem gas tank combo kit to clean, condition and seal.
- This will help to stop leaks and prevent corrosion.
- Check petock opening, making sure the petcock can be easily installed.
- Petcock fitting should be masked or plugged during painting for easy installation of the petcock.
- *NOTE: UPS may consider this part as packaged "oversize" for shipment, as compared to the actual weight, which will result in higher shipping costs.
